Lautna is a non-profit social cause platform that helps missing people, pets, and belongings get back home.
Lautna helps people share and find reports about missing or found people, pets, and belongings. Lautna provides a reporting and review process; it does not guarantee that any report is complete, accurate, current, lawful, or independently verified as fact.
If you submit a report, you are responsible for the information, photos, contact details, and statements you provide. By submitting a report, you confirm that:
Posting may require phone verification. Your verified phone number is kept private, but it may be used by Lautna's review team to investigate misuse, contact you about your report, process takedown requests, or respond to lawful requests from authorities. Phone verification does not mean Lautna has certified the truth of your report.
When Lautna approves a report, that means the report is approved for publication under our platform rules. It does not mean Lautna independently confirms every fact in the report. Lautna may edit, reject, hide, flag, archive, or remove reports at any time to protect safety, dignity, privacy, or legal compliance.
Reports involving vulnerable or unidentified people must be handled with special care. Do not publish humiliating, exploitative, or unnecessary details. Precise found locations and private contact details are kept out of public listings where possible. If a report may put someone at risk, contact appropriate local authorities or trusted responders.
If you believe a report is false, harmful, unlawful, violates privacy, or should be removed, contact us at contact@lautna.org. Include the report link or details and the reason for your request. Lautna may remove content while reviewing a complaint.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lautna and its volunteers, administrators, founders, and operators are not responsible for user-submitted content, false reports, misuse by users, third-party actions, or decisions made based on report content. Users who submit content remain responsible for their own submissions and any harm caused by false, misleading, unlawful, or harmful information.
Where permitted by law, if your submitted report, photo, statement, or misuse of Lautna causes a claim, complaint, loss, penalty, cost, or legal demand, you agree to be responsible for it and to protect Lautna and its volunteers, administrators, founders, and operators from that claim.
Lautna is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or police. Lautna may share relevant private information with verified responders or authorities where needed for safety, reunification, legal compliance, or misuse investigation.
